This is the first book in a series set at Trebizon boarding school and it introduces us to Rebecca Mason and her friends. A must read for all fans of boarding school stories.
A collection of anecdotes from Chelsea's life. Some are quite funny, others are very crude and in poor taste. A quick read and the sort of book you forget you've read, once you've turned the last page.
Can't believe this is Stephanie Perkins debut novel. Great characters and great dialogue against the background of one of the world's most romantic city. Loved this book and can't wait to read more from this talented author.
A candid look at Melissa's life but even though I started off enjoying this book, I got bored after a while and was very glad when I reached the last page.
Ellie and her friends return from camping in Hell, only to find that Australia has been invaded by an unknown enemy and their families and friends are being held captive. They return to Hell and become guerrilla soldiers doing all they can with their limited means and knowledge to create havoc for the enemy as they try to stay alive in a country that is no longer theirs. Great start to a wonderful series.
First book of the Hamish Macbeth series. Although I didn't really warm up to any of the characters and found the plot to be weak, I will give this series another try in the hope that it will get better as I really liked the Scottish Highlands setting.
I first read this book when I was in the 9th Grade and have lost count of the number of times I have since read it . It is amazing how one can love a character so dislikeable. Scarlett is such a brat but she's right up there with Jo March as one of my favorite book characters.
A charming book about four very different, unhappy Englishwomen who rent an old castle in San Salvatore, Italy for the month of April in the 1920s and rediscover themselves in the process.
